On Tuesday evening, murder was on the menu at The Wine Cellar on Main in Northport, NY as the talented team of History Repeatn’ presented Death By Chocolate: Murder Mystery Wine Tasting.
Selling out in mere hours, the event provided a rousing experience for guests, who were thrust into the center of a mystery with unpredictable twists and turns, all while enjoying expertly crafted pairings of wine and chocolate throughout the evening along with savory charcuterie.
Coco, the celebrated chocolatier known for her innovative creations, personally guided guests through this exclusive wine and chocolate tasting, featuring a selection of wines from The Wine Cellar, each meticulously matched with a corresponding chocolate to create a symphony of complementary flavors. Intended as a relaxed yet educational experience allowing attendees to discover exciting new flavor combinations, the event took an unexpected turn when an uninvited rival attempted to steal the attention away from Coco.
Coco’s meticulously planned evening, unfortunately, came undone not only because of the unanticipated arrival of the uninvited guest but also due to a cascade of further unforeseen events, culminating in the most unexpected of all – murder!
As the only witnesses present when the murder occurred, the guests were assigned the task of solving the mystery surrounding the killer’s identity; however, the specifics of their investigation remain undisclosed and only known to them. The evening concluded with parting gifts and door prizes.
The Death By Chocolate event was a resounding success, providing a thrilling and exciting evening filled with plenty of intrigue and suspense that captivated all who attended.
